sophia Sobiechowski - landscapes
My mother, Sophia, started painting at the age of 65 and continued to be one of the most prolific painters until she died at 84. She was always a creative individual, in thought, word and deed (sewing many of our best outfits while we were growing up) but raising six children was time consuming. She loved painting still lifes and landscapes. My favorites are the ones from our cottage at Tallman Lake, “Up North” (and west) in Michigan near Ludington.
